compare-files-mode
Examine a list of differences in directories.
In a list of files produced by the compare-files command, you can
use these keys: - n
- moves to the next file in the list.
- p
- moves to the previous file.
- a
- visits the current line's file matching the first directory or
pattern specified.
- b
- visits the current line's file matching the second directory or
pattern specified.
- c
- opens the current line's file from both the first and second
directory or pattern specified in two windows one above the other.
- s
- opens the current line's file from both the first and second
directory or pattern specified in two windows side by side.
- v or <Enter>
- displays a visual-diff of the current line's two
files.
- d
- displays a diff of the current line's two files.
- l
- (lowercase L) displays a diff of all the different files in the
list, concatenated.
- Shift-A
- copies the current line's file from the first directory or
pattern specified to the second, prompting before overwriting it.
- Shift-B
- copies the current line's file from the second directory or
pattern specified to the first, prompting before overwriting it.
- h or ?
- gives this help.
