| Convert whitespace to tabs. | Ctrl-x Ctrl-Alt-i |
Between point and mark, this command removes all sequences of spaces and tabs. In their place, it inserts a sequence of tabs followed by a sequence of spaces to reach the same column that the prior whitespace did.
