replace-string
| Replace one string with another. | Alt-& |
The command asks you for the old and new strings. From point to the
end of the buffer, it replaces occurrences of the old string with the
new string. If you prefix a numeric argument, it will only replace
matches that consist of complete words. See also query-replace.
