quoted-insert
Take the next character literally. | Ctrl-q |
The command reads another key and inserts it into the buffer, even if
that key would not normally run normal-character. Nothing happens
if the key does not represent an 8-bit ASCII character. Use this
command to insert control characters, meta characters, or graphics
characters into the buffer.
