compare-files-ignore-spaces: preference variable

Default value: 2

This variable determines how the compare-files command compares files that differ only by spaces, tabs, and newlines. The value 0 compares files exactly. The value 1 treats any run of one or more spaces and tabs as a match for any other run of one or more spaces and tabs. The value 2 treats any run of one or more spaces, tabs, or newlines as a match for any other run of one or more spaces, tabs, or newlines. (This variable is ignored when compare-files-method is zero.)
