Epsilon User's Manual and Reference > Variable Reference >

java-indent: preference buffer-specific variable

Default value: 4

C mode indents Java files by this many columns for each additional level of nesting. If the variable is less than or equal to zero, Epsilon uses the value of tab-size instead. Set this variable nonzero if you want Epsilon to use one number for displaying tab characters, and a different number for indenting Java code. (Epsilon will indent using a combination of spaces and tabs, as necessary.)
