Epsilon User's Manual and Reference > Variable Reference >

dired-layout: preference variable

Default value: 1

Most bits in this variable control which file attributes Epsilon for Windows displays in its directory listings for the dired command, as follows: 0x1: Read-only, 0x2: Hidden, 0x4: System, 0x8: Archive. Add the values together to include columns for multiple attributes. A value of 0xf displays all attributes. The 0x10 bit makes Epsilon for Windows use the format 2005-12-31 for file dates instead of the usual one.

The 0x20 bit makes directory listings on macOS, Linux and FreeBSD show the full date including year and seconds for all files. (By default Epsilon mimics the format of "ls -l", showing either a year or hours and minutes, never both and never seconds.)
